Mr. And Mrs. H.A. Thompson, of our city, attended the funeral services of Mrs. 
Anna Ramsey, at her late residence, near Mechanicstown, on Saturday, the 18th 
inst. The services were conducted by Revs. W.C. Dunn and D. Hargest. The 
remains were laid to rest in Scroggsfield cemetery. This mother nearly reached 
her four score years, and had a remarkable history. She was born in March, was 
married twice in the month of March, her husbands both died in March, and she 
died on the 17th of March, 1893, the fifty-seventh anniversary of her first 
marriage. Her husbands, Mr. Robert George and Mr. James Ramsey, each lived 
respectively twelve years in the same old homestead, where they both died, 
since which time she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Nelson, 
of Mechanicstown.
