Mrs. Trotter has been in poor health for some time, but did not complain of feeling any worse yesterday. Last evening, after eating a hearty supper, she started to walk across the room, and suddenly swooned, falling to the floor. She was placed in bed, and expired in less than half an hour, at 8 o’clock. Death is supposed to have resulted from heart disease. Deceased was one of the best known residents of Calcutta. Her husband, Alex. Trotter, is still living, and is proprietor of a store there. She was aged sixty-seven years, and the mother of six children, all of whom are now grown, and raised in the vicinity. The funeral will occur tomorrow at 1 o’clock. The services will be held in Clarkson church; interment in Clarkson cemetery.
