Smith, of Smiths Ferry, died at 11:30 Thursday evening after a brief illness from pneumonia. Mrs. Smith was born and reared near Smiths Ferry and was well known. She was over 50 years old and was a member of the Presbyterian church. She took to her bed last Saturday. These children survive her: Mrs. Etta West, of Allegheny; Misses Susie and Myrtle, Pittsburgh; Will, near Pittsburgh; and Bertie, Ethel, Charles, Roy and Earl, of Smiths Ferry. Charles and Roy are employed at the French China Co.’s Plant, East Liverpool. John Rayl, of Wellsville, is a brother of the deceased. Several sisters are left.
