Towit - I give and bequeath to my daughters Elisabeth and Tolly the quarter section of land which I now own in Richland County and state of Ohio and on which my said daughter Tolly now lives to them and their heirs and assigns forever. Said Elisabeth to have the south half and Tolly to have the north half and the Plantation whereon I now live with its appurtenances being part of section five township fourteen and range (?) the third in said Columbiana I give and bequeath the use and proffits thereof to my wife Elizabeth during her life, but it is well that my daughter Sally shall enjoy the benefit thereof equally with my said wife as long as she my said daughter remains single and my said wife lives. And after the death of my said wife I give and bequeath the said plantation to my three following named children towit Matthias, Sally and Hannah to each an equal share to them, their heirs and assigns forever. The same to be in lieu of the Dower of my said wife. My personal property I give to my said wife/she paying my debts or so much thereof as she choseth to keep during her life and that if she does otherwise dispose of any of it shall be equally divided among all my children towit - Martin, John, Matthias, Elisabeth, Sally and Hannah and that after the death of my said wife if any of my personal property shall remain the same shall also be equally divided between all my said children the whole to be divided by my executors in such manner as they shall think most advantageous. I also will that my notes and accounts which I hold against any of my children shall not bear interest and I hereby appoint my sons John and Matthias the exeuctors of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one. Bowman Charlotta Bowman Columbiana County ss Special Court March 22, 1834 This will was (brought) into Court and the subscribing witnesses (?) thereto being qualified say that they saw the testator sign said will, and they attested and subscribed the same as witnesses in presence of the testator, that the testator when he so signed said will was of sound mind and (?) of full age and not under any restraint: Whereupon said will is approved and ordered to be recorded with the proof now taken.
