A.W., Jackson township; postoffice, Roscoe; born in Orange county Virginia in 1822; settled in this county in 1830, son of , and grandson of Joseph and Nancy (Moore) Wigfield; married Sept 25, 1856, to Maloney C. Platt, daughter of Robert and Margaret Platt. Mr. Odor is the father of two children, viz: J. W. And E.P.  Mr Odor pursued a regular course of studies at Dennison University until his health failed him. He was then engaged in teaching for some seven years.  Ordained to preach by the Regular Baptist church in 1853, and has followed that calling ever since. ---------------- NOTE: he is grandson of Joseph and Nancy (Moore) ODER, not WIGFIELD as stated.
