Bowman Funeral Tuesday Funeral services for Clovis P. Bowman, 78, of New Concord, who died Sunday at Bethesda hospital following a month’s illness, will be held at 1:15 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at his residence, followed by traditional services with Rev. Fred ?iltz and Rev. Frank Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body has been removed to the residence from the ?eck funeral home at New Concord. Mr. Bowman was born in Salem township December 1, 1866, the son of Richard and Mary Bowman and spent most of his life in that township. He was united in marriage to Miss Bertha Carr December 1, 1891. Following his retirement as a farmer four years ago he moved to New Concord. He had been a member of the Bethel Methodist church for many years. surviving are his widow, Mrs. Bertha Bowman; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Jane Geiger, Sonora Rt. 1. and Mrs. Hazel Alice Bryan Etna, Ohio; one son, Logan E. Bowman 1834 Ridge Ave.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and two sisters, Frances Bowman and Mamie Garner both of Norwich. One daughter, three sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
