She had been a patient at the hospital two days. Frances Grace Porteus was born Sept. 21, 1918, a daughter of Leslie and Iola Blair Porteus, Coshocton Route 2. She was married Dec. 2, 1944, to Francis Buxton, who survives. Mrs. Buxton graduated from Coshocton high school with the class of 1935, received a bachelor of science degree in education at Muskingum college and taught for a number of years in the Warsaw school district. She was a member of the Nellie E. U. B. church, the Franklin grange, Warsaw Review club, and was the advisor to the Nellie Blue Birs 4-H club. In addition to her parents and husband, the survivors are four children; Robert, James, Susan and Martha, all of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Wells and Miss Irene Porteus, Coshocton Route 2 and one brother, Blair Portues, Coshocton Route 2. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Nellie E. U. B. church incharge of Rev. R. I. Farmer, Canton, assisted by Rev. I. H. Amore of Coshocton. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the Fischer funeral home in Warsaw from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, on Sunday after 2 p.m. at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porteus, Route 2 and at the Nellie church from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday.
