Monroe Township Man Found Dead on Birthday Anniversary

Samuel Harvey Bechtol, 71, of Warsaw Route 2 was found dead in bed this morning 
at his home in Monroe Township.

He was born in Coshocton County, on October 12, 1874, son of John and Elizabeth 
DeCamp Bechtol.  June 3, 1903 he married Frannie Mellor, who preceded him in 
death in February 1945.  He was a member of the Spring Mountain Church of 
Christ.  

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold Priest, Warsaw, route 2, and Mrs. Ava 
Chadwick, a son Delmer, of the home, one brother John, of New Philadelphia, 
seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the home on Warsaw Route 2 Sunday at 2 
o'clock.  Burial will be on the Monroe Church cemetery.  Friends may call at 
the home after Friday noon.
