The Democratic Standard
Hattie Calentine

Mrs. George Calentine died suddenly at her home on east Locust Street, last
Saturday. Her death, we learn, was due to premature childbirth, super induced by
a strain received from lifting, while engaged in house cleaning work. Deceased
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Randles, and was a most amiable and
estimable young lady. Her early death will be sincerely regretted by her many
friends. The remains received interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery on Monday, after
funeral services conducted by Rev. R. B. Pope and C. C. Erwin.
