Callentine, 87, who formerly resided at 928 Main St., died at 3:50 pm. Friday at a Cambridge hospital following a two year illness. She was born September 28, 1867, at Chili, a daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Noah Brown, and was twice married. Her first husband was George D’Ostroph, who is deceased. She next married George Callentine, who died May 1, 1909. Mrs. Callentine was a charter member of the old Protective Home Circle and the Royal Neighbors lodge, and the Emmanuel Lutheran church of Coshocton. Surviving are one son, Arthur D’Ostroph, Coshocton; one sister, Mrs. Albert Rinehart, Canton; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren. One daughter, six brothers and one sister are deceased. Services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday at the Gibson & Bontrager funeral home in charge of Rev. Olan Aughbaugh and burial will be in South Lawn cemetery.
