He apparently was in his usual health when he suffered an attack at him home and was taken to the hospital. He had been employed at the school and church the past four years. The son of the late Charles d. and Rachel Weaver Callentine, he was born May 25, 1905, in Wallbridge and came to Newark from Newcomerstown. He leaves his widow, the former Ruth Carr, who me married September 1, 1928; seven sons and a daughter; Charles of Harrisville, Mich., Airman Richard Callentine, U.S. Air Force stationed in France, Mrs. Martha Atkinson of Eatontown, N. J., S-Sgt. Coe William, Erding Air Force Base Germany, Eugene, Roger and James of the home and Donald of Dennison; also nine grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Nutter of Newark; two brothers are deceased. The funeral will be held at 9 am Saturday with a requiem mass in St. Francis de Sales Church and burial will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton.
