Coshocton Tribune May 16, 1942
Mrs. Bertha Fletcher Carr, 60, native of Coshocton county, died at her home in 
Zanesville Friday after a several years' illness. She spent most of her early 
life in Newcomerstown, moving to Zanesville after her marriage to John Carr, 
who survives. Others surviving are two sons, Ralph, Columbus, Kenneth of the 
air corps. Springfield, Ill., two sisters, Mrs. Della Wilson and Mrs. Charles 
Berkheimer, two brothers, Bruce and William, all of Newcomerstown. Funeral 
services will be held Sunday at the Newcomerstown Baptist church with burial 
in the Newcomerstown cemetery.

Carr, Zanesville, former Newcomerstown resident, held in the Baptist church

PA., Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Carr and son, Jeff, Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Clovis 
Bowman, New Concord, Mr. and Mrs. Baxter Sharrock and daughter, Canton, Mr. 
and Mrs. Roland Sharrock and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Sharrock, Norwich, Mr. and 
Mrs. Jess Whitis, Guernsey, Mr. and Mrs. Merrel Fletcher, Dover, Mr. and Mrs. 
Robert Chapman, Port Washington, daughter, Mildred, Cleveland, Mrs. Altha 
Snedeker and son, Jimmy, Roscoe, Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Carr and son, Hugh, Mr. 
and Mrs. Frank Carr and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carr, all of Coshocton, Mrs. J. W. 
Bucher, Malvern, Mr. and Mrs. John Decker, Mrs. Harry Norris, son Wayne, 
daughter, Mrs. Walter Euga, Mrs. Belle Cohagan and grandson, Ralph Donaldson, 
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cohagan, all of Zanesville.
