Main St. at noon Friday. He had been ill six years following a stroke, but had been bedfast only the past nine months. He was born July 16, 1874, the son of Steven [sic] and Mary Clough, Coshocton. He was a retired coal miner, coming here from Cambridge seven years ago. He was a member of the Coshocton Methodist church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Willian Taylor, Mrs. James King, both of Newcomerstown, Miss Blanche Clough of the home; one son, Fred, this place, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers Steven, Clinton, Ind; John Hartman, Ark; three sisters, Mrs. Anthony Eikhoff, Mrs. Lula Conners, Chicago, and Mrs. Charles Waters, Sullvian, Ind. His wife, Jennie, preceded him in death four years. The body will rest at the family home from Saturday noon until 1 o'clock Monday when it will be removed to the Jones-Lydick funeral home, where services will be held in charge of Rev. Virgil Mewbourn of the Nazarene church. Burial will be made in Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge. Additional Comments: Son of Stephen & Mary McBertha (Elliott) Clough. Husband of Jane Marlowe Hall.
