He was born May 15, 1876, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gibson and was married in 1902 to Jessie Estep, who survives. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Union Chapel church at Otsego. In addition to the widow, the survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Earl Angle, Tracey, Calif., Mrs. William Dyer, Newcomerstown, Mrs. Wilmer Buker, Coshocton Route 2, Mrs. Loren Miller and Mrs. William McDonald, Coshocton; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Baughman near Brewster; eight grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Dawson funeral home in charge of Rev. Calvin Gilmore and burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the Dawson funeral from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until time for services Thursday.
