Nancy Jane Mellor was born Aug, 7, 1870, near Maysville, O., a daughter of John and Charity Norman Mellor. Jan. 1, 1890 she was married to Mr. Harstine, who died Jan. 16, 1931. Surviving are three sons, Charles of Coshocton Route 5, Willliam of Utica and Homer of West Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. James Ruby of Plainfield, Mrs. Homer Wood of Columbus; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Mellor of Newcomerstown and a one sister, Mrs. Cora Davis of West Lafayette Route 1. One son, two sisters and a brother are deceased. Mrs. Harstine was a member of the Plainfield Methodist church, where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Floyd Stephens. Burial will be in Plainfield cemetery. Friends may call at the Bonnell funeral home in West Lafayette from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday.
