Coshocton Tribune July 11, 1966

Mrs. Cora R. Hinds, 90, formerly of Neighbor st. Newcomerstown, died at 10pm
Saturday in Columbus. Born March 23, 1876, in Keene township, she was a daughter
of Leander and Catherine Corbett Swigert, and was married to William Hinds, who
died in January 1939. Mrs. Hinds was a member of College St. Methodist Church,
the Oriental Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge and past noble grand of
Frees Rebekah Lodge. 

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ina Lowry of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. Mary
Wentz of Coshocton and Mrs. H. C. Norman, West Lafayette Route 1; two brothers,
Ernest and Bernard Swigert, both of Newcomerstown; one grandchild and two great-
grandchildren. Six brothers and a sister are deceased. Services will be
conducted at 2pm Tuesday in Ourant Funeral Home in Newcomerstown by Rev. George
Shurtz, assisted by Rev. William A. Hewitt. Burial will be in the West Lawn
Cemetery. Rites will be conducted by the Rebekah Lodge at the funeral home.
