Kees, Newcomerstown Route 3, died at 7:30 am today in University hospital, Columbus, where he had been a patient for one day. Mr. Kees was a retired Heller Brothers employee. Funeral arrangements are being made by Ourant funeral home, Newcomerstown. Coshocton Tribune January 21, 1961 Saturday ============= Services for John S. Kees, 67, Newcomerstown Route 3, who died Saturday at University hospital, Columbus, will be Monday at 2pm at the Ourant funeral home in Newcomerstown with Rev. Newton Ferguson in charge. Burial will be in Hartwood cemetery. Mr. Kees was born July 8, 1893, at Bernice to Daniel and Myrtle Woodard Kees. On May 30, he was married to Ethel Bond, who survives along with three daughters, Mrs. R.H. Champlin of Arlington, Tex., Mrs. Peter Paublos of Newark, and Mrs. G.A. Sechrist of Dayton; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Kinsey, and one brother, Clyde, both of Newcomerstown Route 3, and seven grandchildren. Two sisters are deceased.
