He was born Dec. 27, 1894 in Franklin Twp., a son of John F. and Martha Sandel Lapp. On March 1, 1919, he was united in marriage with Mabel Blair, who survives. Mr. Lapp was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church of Coshocton and the Golden Sheaf of the Coshocton Grange. In addition to his wife, surviving are a son, Warren Lapp, Coshocton Rt.1; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Geraldine) Roberts, Dallas, Texas and Mrs. Richard (Zelma) Barth of Westerville; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Robert Binkley. Burial will be made in South Lawn Cemetery.
