Coshocton Tribune November 5, 1946

Joseph Loader, 72, Newcomerstown, was found dead in his bed at 9am today in his
room at the North Cross St. residence. The physician called to the home stated
that he had died several hours earlier of a stroke. He was born March 18, 1874,
near Low Gap, a son of Joseph and Katherine Loader, He was associated with the
Home Equipment Co. Newcomerstown and previously had been in the grocery business
and with the C. E. Ortt Co. He was a member of the Trinity Methodist church,
Newcomerstown and the Brotherhood of the church. His wife preceded him in death
six years ago. The body will be removed from the Hinds funeral home,
Newcomerstown, to the home of his niece, Mrs. Earl Titus, 632 West State Street,
on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held there Thursday with Rev. L. S. Green
officiating.
