McAllister, 76, West Lafayette, Route 1, died at 3:15 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ledlie Pollock, 1027 Orchard st., Coshocton. Vernie Kinner was born April 12, 1883, in Coshocton county, a daughter of Willis M. and Sarah Cochran Kinner. On July 19, 1904, she was married to Edward J. McAllister who survives with two daughters,, Mrs. Ledlie Pollock and Mrs. Robert Henderson, both of Coshocton; one son, Carlos McAllister of San Mateo, Calif.; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Charles Kinner, West Lafayette and Jesse Kinner, Coshocton Route 3. Two sons, are deceased. One, Francis, was killed in action in World War II. Three brothers and three sisters also are deceased. She was a member of the Coshocton Presbyterian Church, OES Chapter 342 of West Lafayette, Plainfield Grange, Farm Bureau Council, Gold Star Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary, West Lafayette. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bonnell funeral home, West Lafayette, with Rev. Harold KAser and Rev. Russell Hoy officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
