Ada E. Mowrey Ada E. Mowrey, 75, 611 Chestnut St died at County Memorial Hospital at 2 a.m. Sunday following a short illness. Miss Mowrey had been a teacher in the county and city schools for 53 years yetiring in 1962. She was a member of the State Teachers Association and the Park Avenue EUB church. She was born Aug. 23, 1891 in West Bedford. A daughter of William and Mary Walker Mowrey. Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Margene Mayhew of Coshocton, Mrs. Marie Shuck and Mrs. Doris Bonham of Royal Oaks, Mich.; four nephews, Harold Mowrey of Bladensbur, David Mowrey of Mount Vernon, James Mowrey of Wayne and Frances Mowrey of San Diego, Calif. Three brothers are deceased. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2. p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw in charge of George E. Thomas. Burial will be in West Bedford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until time of services Wednesday.
