McCormick, 68, 409 North College St., Newcomerstown, was dead on arrival at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital at 11 a.m. Saturday as a result of an apparent heart attack. He was the son of John and Jennie Everhart McCormick, born in Bakersville Aug. 15, 1900. He was first married to Ella Stein, who died in 1946. He then married Mary Lucille Cutshall, who survives. He was a member of the Newcomerstown Scripture of Holmes Church serving as a deacon and Sunday School superintendent. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Burrier and Mrs. Norma Barker of Newcomerstown Route 1, Mrs. Pauline Burrier of Newcomrstown Route 3 [sic]; three sons, John of Newcomerstown, Floyd Jr. of Stone Creek Route 1, and Raymond of the home; two step-daughters, Mrs. Joann Hannahs and Mrs. Mary Hunt of Newcomerstown; one step-son, James Cutshall of Newcomerstown; one sister, Alma Huff of Massillon; 15 grandchildren and nine step grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Scripture Holiness Church in Newcomerstown with Rev. William Gamble officiating. Burial will be in the Bakersville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ourant Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
