"Heading:  Lyman Guy McCoy, 53, Former Resident, dies Sunday at Zanesville
Content:  Lyman Guy McCoy, 53, former county resident, died at 5:30 a.m. 
Sunday at his home in Zanesville following a short illness.  He was born in 
1895, a son of Miles and Rhoda McCoy, who preceded him in death.  One son and 
two brothers are also deceased.  Surviving are one daughter, Mildred McCoy of 
Greenville, Ohio; one sister, Mrs Milton Walters of Coshocton; two brothers, 
Henry McCoy of Coshocton and Alton McCoy of the Merchant Marine, and three 
grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Keck 
Funeral Home, Zanesville."   

Additional Comments:
Lyman Guy McCoy's first marriage was to Hazel Gertrude Blackson of Coshocton 
County, Ohio on 03 July 1914 in Coshocton, County, Ohio.  To the union was 
born Tella Milton McCoy (per birth certificate record).  Tella survived his 
father, and was living in San Diego County, California at the time of Lyman's 
death.  Hazel had remarried, and also died the same year 1948 in San Diego 
County, California.
