"Mrs. Hazel G. Brown
   Spring Valley: Dec. 9 (Spe-
cial)--Mrs. Hazel G. Brown, 52, of
Bonita St., died late yesterday in
a San Diego hospital. She was
born in Ohio and moved here from
Seeley 5 months ago.
   Survivors are two sons, Tella Mc-
Coy and Arthur Yaw: two daugh-
ters, Misses Juanita and Mamie
Brown, all of Spring Valley; a sis-
ter, Mrs. Lucille Brady, of Seeley,
and several other sisters and broth-
ers in Ohio.
   Funeral Services will be conduct-
ed at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Erick-
son-Anderson Mortuary, La Mesa."

Hazel Gertrude Blackson McCoy, Brown was born 24 April 1896 in Tuscarawas 
Twp., Coshocton County, Ohio, and died 08 December 1948 as listed in the 
obituary notice. Her father was: Elmer Elsworth BLACKSON b: 25 MAR 1871 in 
Byesville, Gurnsey Co., Ohio, and her mother was: Lottie Francis ROGERS b: APR 
1877 in Muskingum Co., Ohio.
 She is buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, 3751 Market Street, San Diego, 
California 619-527-3400.  The stone displays Hazel Brown 1896-1948.
Her previous marriages were to: # 1. Lyman McCoy 03 July 1914, Coshocton 
County, Ohio; Lee Oden, Mr. Lovejoy, Mr. DeWebber, and Mr. Yaw previous to Mr. 
Everett Brown in abt. 1935.
