Coshocton Tribune February 22, 1951

Funeral services were to be held today in Akron for Mrs. Rena Stocker Pittinger,
62, native of Newcomerstown, who died Monday after a two months’ illness. The
former Rena Mae Buchanan was born here, a daughter of William and Olive Lanning
Buchanan and had lived in Akron for 36 years. 

Surviving are her husband Max Pittinger; three children, Mrs. Ruth Fretz and
Richard Stocker, Akron and Clayton Stocker, California; and three grandchildren.
Burial was to be in Akron.
