Born in Plainfield, Ohio, November 12, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Donard F. and Sarah E. Powelson Howell. On October 27, 1934, she wed Wilson A. Rehard and together they celebrated fifty-three years of marriage prior to his death on November 25, 1987. Together they owned and operated the former Rehard Television Store in West Lafayette. She also worked for thirty-three years at Jones Metal, also of West Lafayette. Pauline will be remembered for the love she bestowed to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and for her avid work of crossword puzzles. Survivors include her son, James A. (wife, Shirley) Rehard also of Newcomerstown. She'll be sadly missed by her two grandchildren; Dana K. (her husband, Tim) Miller of Newcomerstown and Gregory Rehard of West Lafayette; two great-grandchildren Karlie V. Rehard and Hunter J.S. Rehard both of West Lafayette; six step-grandchildren, Brad (wife, Sharon) Williams of Kissimmee, Florida, Debi Wolfe, Tina Williams, Becky (husband, Doug) Alford, all of Coshocton, Tony (wife, Connie) Williams of West Lafayette and Lisa Williams of Coshocton; many step-great-grandchildren, including Jordan Williams, as well as step-great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A brother, Harold R. (wife, Janet) Howell of West Lafayette complete the family. In addition to her parents, and husband, Pauline is preceded in death by her sister, Trilva J. Berry and two brothers, Robert B. Howell and Cecil E. Howell; a step-granddaughter, Leeann Irwin is also deceased. Per her requests, there are no calling hours or services planned. The family will gather for a private graveside service in Fairfield Cemetery.
