Coshocton Tribune

Mrs. Sidney Stewart, 76, died of complications Friday noon at her home on East
Canal St. Newcomerstown, following a week's illness. She was born Sept. 23, 1859
in Washington township, Tuscarawas cty. a daughter of Daniel and Melissa Kees.
She had moved to Newcomerstown 15 yrs. ago. Her husband Morris died 6 yrs ago.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Charles Moore, Mrs. Emmett White both of
Canton, Mrs. Henry McMullen of Gilmore, Mrs. Arthur Smeets of Booth. 10
grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Addy Edwards of New
Philadelphia and a brother, Daniel Kees of Bernice. Funeral services will be
held Sunday at the home in Newcomerstown. Burial will be in West Lawn cemetery,
Newcomerstown.
