Columbus, Ohio 43201 coliver@netwalk.com September 30, 1996 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mrs. Virgil Smailes Mrs. Virgil Smailes, 61, died at 12:30 a.m. today at her home, 916 South Sixth St., the result of a heart attack. Fanny Pearl Mills was born March 27, 1898, at Adams Mills a daughter of Ira and Amy Hardesty Mills and was married Oct 5, 1916 to Virgil Smailes, who survives. She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Coshocton. Besides her husband, the survivors are two daughters, Miss Della Smailes of the home and Mrs. Donald Frye, Coshocton; one son, William Smailes, Coshocton; two granddaughters and two grandsons. Her parents and one brother are deceased. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson funeral home in the carge of Rev. Thomas Phillippe and burial will be in the South Lawn Cemetery. Friends my call at the funeralhome Wednesday from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until time of services.
