Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Darling, Fifth st., Warsaw, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, Sunday, Aug. 18. Della Purdy, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Purdy of Tiverton, and Lloyd V. Darling, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Darling of Warsaw were united in marriage Aug. 14, 1907, by Rev. Robertson at Coshocton. The couple is seen in a 1907 wedding picture at the left and as they appear today. Mr. and Mrs. Darling have lived all their married life in Warsaw, where Mr. Darling has been in the hardware business for 43 years. He is affiliated with the Masonic lodge at Warsaw, and Mrs. Darling is a member of Warsaw chapter, OES. Both collect antiques as a hobby. The couple have one son, Edmund R. Darling, Warsaw, who is associated with his father in the business, and two grandchildren. Open house will be held at the home of the honored ones from 2 until 5 in the afternoon.
