Tiro; was born in Auburn Township, July 13, 1851. He is a son of James and Margaret (Ake) Morrow, and grandson of Charles Morrow, who came to Auburn Township in 1817 . His father and mother were natives of Pennsylvania. The former was born in 1809 and the latter in 1812. They were married in Auburn Township Sept. 9, 1830, and to them were born six children, viz.: William, Mary A. (deceased), Charles, David (deceased), James and John. Those living are all in Auburn Township. John passed his youth and early manhood on his father's place and going to school He was married Dec. 10, 1874, to Susan N. Cory, daughter of Thomas Cory and to them were born two sons-Harry B. born Dec. 20, 1875, and Charley J.. born May 18, 1878. Mr. Marrow owns 160 acres of well-improved land, and is a Democrat in politics. His father was a man of good steady habits, and was well respected by his friends and neighbors. He died March 8, 1875. His mother lives on the old place with him. in Auburn Township.
