She is survived by her husband but no children, their only child having died in infancy. The body will be brought Bucyrus Wednesday morning and funeral services occur at the First M. E. church at 10:20 a. m. , Rev. Austin Philpott officiating. Burial in Oakwood. Mrs. Luke was formerly Kittie Gleason, a daughter of Elisha Gleason and was born at New Winchester thirty-one year ago. Seventeen years ago the family home was established in Bucyrus and her marriage to Homer Luke occurred, seven years ago. Until three years ago they lived in Bucyrus, moving from here to Toledo. Surviving relatives are the brother and sister: Benson Gleason, Mrs. Viola Corwin and Mrs. Herdeman of Marion; Mrs. Samuel Wise of New Winchester and Mrs. Harvey Grandstaff of Toledo. Mrs. Luke was a young woman of many admirable qualities, of noble character and esteemed by all who knew her. Her many Bucyrus friends learn of her death with deep regret and extend sympathy to the bereaved husband, brother and sisters. Bucyrus Evening Telegraph, June 21, 1910. ==== Obituary Kittie Gleason was born March 7, 1879, at New Winchester, O.. She died at Toledo Monday, June 20, 1910, at the age of 31 years, 3 months and 13 days. About the year 1890 she removed with her parents to Bucyrus, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage Dec. 30, 1903 to Homer J. Luke. To their union one child, a daughter, was born but she died in infancy. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Methodist church, followed by burial in Oakwood. Besides the husband Mrs. Luke is survived by one brother, Bronson Gleason of Marion, and four sister--Mrs. Etta Herdman and Mrs. Viola Corwin, Marion; Mrs. Hattie Grandstaff, Toledo; and Mrs. Mexy Wise, New Winchester. There is a wide circle of other relatives and friends. She was a lady of refined character and kindly heart. Her influence was excellent, and she will be long remembered and mourned.
