Honnor Stein Reider. Know all men by these presente that we Henry Stover and Margaret his wife of Hancock County Daniel Stover of Putnum County and Catherine his wife Ashford Stover and Lucinda his wife Jacob Stover and Barbery his wife of the county of Crawford and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum fifteen hundred and forty five dollars in hand paid by Enos Nieble of the same place have bargained and sold and do hereby grant bargain in sell and convey unto the said Enis Niebel his heirs and assigns forever the following premesis Situated in the County of Crawford in the State of Ohio and in the District of Delaware and bounded as follows it being the South East Quarter of the North West Quarter of Section twenty six township one South of range fourteen containing forty acres less or more and sixty Acres less or more of the south part of the West half of the North East Quarter of Section Township and Range before described. To have and to hold said premises with appurtenances unto the said Enos Nieble his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Henry Stover Daniel Stover Ashford Stover Jacob Stover for themselves and heirs doth hereby covenant and with said Enos Niebel his heirs and assigns that they are lawfully devized of the premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear from all encumberances whatsoever and that they will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto said Enos Nieble his heirs and assigns against the lawfull claims of all persons whomsoever except Twenty feet square at the burying ground which is on the described tract of land which is to be and forever Remain in the original name for burying. In tesitmony whereof the said Henry Stover and Margaret Daniel Stover and Catharine Ashford Stover and Lucinda Jacob Stover and Barbary have hereinto set their hands and seals this eleventh day of December in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and forty executed in the presents of Ephriam Moody Ashford Stover Henry Stover Hammson Muller Lucinda Stover Daniel Stover George Riegle Jacob Stover Margaret Stover Catharine Riegle Barbary Stover Catharine Stover The State of Ohio Hancock County Personally appeared before me Ephriam Moody a Justice of the Peace of Union township the within named Daniel Stover and Henry Stover the grantors in the above conveance also Margaret Stover his wife Catharine wife of Daniel Stover who acknowledged at ? to be their voluntary act and deed for the purpose therein named taken by me and the 11th day Page 438 December AD 1840 Ephriam Moody Justice of the Peace The State of Ohio Crawford County SS before me George Reigle a Justice of the Peace in and for said county personally appeared the within named Ashford Stover and Jacob Stover the Grantors in the above conveance also Lucinda his wife Barbary wife of Jacob Stover who acknowledged the same to ? those voluntary act and ? for the purpose therein passed this 15th day of December in the year 1840.
