William Moddelmog was born as Wilhelm Moddelmog as the fifth child of Gottlieb 
Moddelmog (DOB May 06, 1830, DOD August 22, 1887) and his wife Wilhelmine 
Tessmer Moddelmog (DOB January 15, 1837, DOD December 27, 1891) in Schmilowo, 
West Prussia, Germany.  Most likely came through Castle Garden in New York and 
moved on to Cleveland, Ohio, where he moved in with his older brother Gustav at 
45 Emmet Street.  Their youngest brother Federick later on joined them. On 
August 14, 1922 he officially becomes a US citizen. He dies in Cleveland, Ohio 
on March 3, 1993.
