Traugott Moddelmog was born as Traugott Hermann Moddelmog as the oldest of 
seven children of Georg Moddelmog (DOB November 07, 1821) and his wife Justine 
Tesmer Moddelmog in Gross Tonin, West Prussia, Germany. Georg was the older 
brother of Gottlieb Moddelmog, whose children Gustav, William and Frederick 
later on lived on the same street (Emmet St.) in Cleveland Ohio as Traugott.
