Olmsted Township- Jeanne Fetzer Kulas served on the board of several 
organizations including the Eliza Jennings Group, the West Shore YMYWCA and 
the Westside Board of Mental Retardation.

Mrs. Kulas, 76, died Feb 8 at the Renaissance in Olmsted Township. Before 
moving there in 1994, she had lived in Bay Village.

In addition to serving on these boards for more than 15 years, Mrs. Kulas 
supported many animal-rights causes and had taken in several abused and 
abandoned pets.

She was a native of Lakewood and had graduated from Lakewood High School. She 
then attended Lake Erie College, where she studied to be a classical organist. 
She left college in 1938 to marry Howard F. Kulas.

While Mrs. Kulas abandoned her formal training, she supported the arts 
throughout her life.

Gardening, bridge clubs and dancing were among Mrs. Kulas' other interests.

Survivors include daughters Susan Zemek of Bay Village and Pamela Miller of 
Annapolis, MD; son, Carl F. of Bay Village; four grandchildren; a great 
grandchild; two sisters and a brother. 

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover 
Center Road., Westlake.
