At Cleveland, Dec 27, Oliver Hough, aged 64 years.  Mr. Hough  formerly
resided  at Martinsburg, Lewis Co, NY., where he was widely known as an
active and leading man.  In 1835 he united with the Presbyterian Church, and
continued an efficient member of it, both there and in Cleveland, wither he
removed six years since.  Blessed with a reasonable competence, he gave with
a liveral hand to all such religious and benefolent enterprises as commended
themselves to his judgement.  Mr. H. was a man of conservative disposition,
of shining intergirty, of strong attachments, and clear and earnest piety.
He preferred tried paths and tried friends; and has left a lovely family and
large circle of acquaintances to lament his loss.

From an obit kept by Sabrina Winifred Hough Wright (Mrs. Ruggles Wright) in
the family bible, date uncertain.
