A town of 2,500 inhabitants, on the Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati &
Indianapolis, the Columbus, Chicago and Indiana Central and Dayton & Union
railroad, in Randolph county, Indiana, and Darke county, Ohio. It is an
important place, has five churches, good schools, and various manufacturing
establishments. It is backed by excellent agricultural lands, and is already a
place of considerable trade.
