Thaddes Steven Barr

Retired groceryman dies at Union City

        Services for Thaddes Barr will be held Saturday afternoon.


Union City, September 26.

        Thaddes Barr, 79 years old, died at his rsidence, 419 North High 
St., Wednesday evening after a long illness of one year. He had resided in 
this community all his life and was a retired groceryman. He was a 
member of the Medodist church.
        Surviving are the widow, Pearl, one son, Glen of Union City, three 
granddaughters and one great grandchild.
        Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Brooks 
Funeral Home here with the Rev. E.E. Kauffman officiating.
        Burial will be in Union City Cemetery.
