OBITUARY

Mary Elizabeth Henning
1923

Mary Elizabeth Henning passed away this morning at 2:30 at her home, 
230 West Main Street. Mrs. Henning had been ill about two weeks from 
complications of diseases.
        The deceased was a lady loved and honored by a large circle of 
friends. She was born in Darke County and was the daughter of Samual 
Shaffer. Mrs. Henning was 73 years and 15 days old. Her husband, Isaac 
Henning passed away 15 years ago. The aged mother leaves to mourn 
her death, two daughters; Mrs. Roll Holderman and Miss Ida Henning, and 
a son, Charles Henning of Dayton; four grandchildren and one great 
grandchild. 
        Funeral services for Mrs. Henning will be held at her late residence 
Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. W.A. Klindworth will officiate and her 
remains will be laid to rest in the family burial lot in the Dininger Cemetery.
