Henning 1951 Obituary Alvin Henning Dies; Rites Here Sunday __________________________________________________ A.C. (Alvin) Henning, 75, of Greenville R.R. #4, a well known retired Darke County farmer, died Thursday afternoon at the Greenville sanitarium after an extended illness. Mr. Henning, who had spent his entire life in the Greenville area, had been a member of the local Red Men's lodge for 54 years. He was also an active member of St. John's Lutheran church, northeast of Greenville. Immediate survivors include his wife, Minnie; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Frank Witters, Greenville. Services will be held Sunday at 2 P.M. at the Zechar funeral home here and at 2:30 P.M. at St. John's church. Dr. Edgar Ebert will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 P.M. tomorrow.
