Main St., Wincester, was dead on arrival at the Randolph County Hospital, Monday evening, July 15, 1985. He and his wife owned the "Swap Shop" in Wincester for 28 years. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are the widow, Sopie; one son, John Henning of Losantville; one daughter, Carol Ann Marsh of Germany; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one half-sister, Mary Esther Weirick of Culver. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Walker Funeral Home, Wincester, with Charles Remaklus officiating. Burial will be in the Fountain Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Note: John Abner Henning, son of Charles Grover Henning and Bessie (Bright) Henning.
