HEART MALADY FATAL TO JOHN A. HENNING
1946
DEATH Occurred SUNDAY AT HOME NEAR 
BAIRD'S LAKE

John Alvin Henning, 28 year old Darke County farmer, 
died Sunday evening at his home, one mile west of 
Baird's Lake, following a year's illness from heart 
trouble.
        Henning, a Darke County native was born and 
reared in Washington Township.
        He leaves a wife, Mary, one daughter, Mary 
Alice, at home, and his parents, Mr. & Mrs. A. C. 
Henning, Greenville R.R.
        Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 
P.M. at St. John's Lutheran church near Greenville, 
with the rev. Ketner officiating. Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.
        Friends may call at the Stocker Funeral home 
until 2 P.M. Tuesday when the body will be returned to 
the residence.
