Reck moreck@juno.com October 4, 1998 *********************************************************************** LURA HENNING Lura Henning, oldest daughter of Edward L. and wife, Emma Savina, both deceased, was born June 7, 1890, in Washington Township, Darke Co. Ohio. In early childhood she was taken into God's covenant of grace through Holy Baptism. After the death of her parents, mother departing this life October 31, 1895, her father on March 13, 1896, she with her sister Murl made her home with her grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Isaac Henning. Lura enjoyed good health until last May, but it was only months afterwards that becamed apparent that the malady which she had contracted would undoubtedly terminate her youthful life. She ended her earthly career after days of patient suffering January 1, 1910, at 5 o'clock in the morning, reaching the age of nineteen years, six months and four days. She leaves to mourn her departure, her sister Murl, her grandmother, her aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends. Peace be to her ashes. DIED Miss Lula Henning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Henning, deceased Saturday morning after a long illness. Funeral at 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Dininger Church. Rev. Benzine officiating.
