The Cincinnati Commercial dated Monday Morning, November 10, 1873
Suicide Mania
Greenville, Ohio, NOvember 9, a man named William Beers hung himself in jail 
last night. He was locked up yesterday, and this morning was found hanging in 
his cell. he used the chain that supported his bed. No cause is knonw for the 
act.
