Bryan Times, Bryan Ohio, May 26, 1952, Page 1 
Oliver S. Criswell; 77 Milford Twp farmer died suddenly Saturday morning at his 
home four miles north of Six Corners. He had been in failing health for several 
months with a heart ailment. Surviving are his wife Olive; three sons; Clarence 
of Huntington Park, Calif. Douglas of Springfield, and Rodney of Bryan, two 
daughters Edith Phillips Bryan and Mrs. Dora Brown Hicksville; 12 
grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a brother Harvey Criswell Louisville, 
Ohio. Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the Methodist Presbyterian 
church at Edgerton, with Rev Robert Bates, pastor of Hicksville Presbyterian 
church officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at Edgerton.
