Killed by the cars
Special dispatch to the Register
Vermilion, O, Nov 15
An old German by the name of John Reifert was run over and killed by the St Louis
Express this afternoon 
about one mile west of here
                                                

Additional Comments:
John Reifert was the son of Nicholas Reifert, both who emigrated from Bremen Germany
with families   
arriving Baltimore  10 Oct 1848 aboard the Bark Leda
