Curran, a veteran of the Sandusky soilder's home, fell down a flight of steps at the steps at the entrance to his cottage Saturday evening and was killed. It is thought that he broke his neck by the fall, although the theory is advanced that he was stricken with heart failure which caused him to fall. Curran was about 74 years of age and was quite feeble. He had just returned to the home from the city and reached the top flight of stone steps when he suddenly fell over. Curran was born in 1827 and entered the home in 1897. He came from Bucyrus. Additional Comments: Alternative date of birth is March 1830.
