Adrian was born on May 30, 1911 in Margaretta Twp., Erie County, the son of Charles H. Frederick and Ida J. Harkness. Adrian attended Margaretta Twp. schools and lived in Erie County, Ohio until about 1955 when he purchased a farm in Sandusky County, Ohio near Vickery. He farmed this land until about 1965 when he sold the farm and retired from farming. Adrian worked for Balsizer Implement and then Danklesen Equipment of Bellevue until his retirement. Adrian was very active in the Vickery Volunteer Fire Department helping with the many fund raisers such as the weekly bingo games as a caller. He was active at the First United Methodist Church serving on the Building Maintenance Committee. Adrian married Vera M. Myers on November 26, 1932 in Sandusky, Ohio. They were the parents of two children Joyce E. Havice-Doris and Donna J. White. Adrian is survived by his wife, two daughters and five grandchildren, Ronald Havice, Dawne Maddox and Suzanne Mink; Paula Bosen and David Randall White. Friends may call Tuesday Evening December 12, 1989 at the Foos Funeral Home with services being held Wednesday December 13, 1989 at the First United Methodist Church in Bellevue, Ohio. Burial will be in Margaretta Twp. Cemetery, Castalia, Ohio.
