Johannsen and a former resident of Perkins, died Tuesday evening at 1326 Carr St. after a short illness. Mrs. Johannsen was aged 80 years, 9 months and 21 days and despite her advanced age, had been in fairly good health and her death was unexpected. Surviving her are six sons, Henry of Birmingham, Hanz of Avon, August of North Eaton, William of Wakeman and Christ and John of Sandusky; tow daughters, Mrs. Henry Wilkens of Perkins and Mrs. August Kubach of Birmingham; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1905. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of this city, and following services at the Frey funeral home Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, additional services will be conducted at the church at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. Theo J. C. Stellhorn officiating. Burial will be made in the family lot at Oakland cemetery.
