Sandusky Register  March 16, 1965
Lamont W. Mees, 41, a resident of 509 Helena Drive, died unexpectedly this 
morning in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Joseph Buder, coroner, ruled death was 
from natural causes.  Mees had been employed for nearly five years as a 
carrier for the Sandusky Post Office.  He served with the U.S. Navy Air Force 
during World War II and was a member of the First Reformed United Church of 
Christ and the Air Force Reserve. Surviving are his widow, the former Evelyn 
Jones, a son, Lamont W. Jr.,and a stepdaughter Paulette Cantelli, both at 
home; a stepson, David Cantelli Sandusky; a step-grandson; his parents Mr. and 
Mrs. William J. Mees, rural Sandusky; two sisters, Mrs. Wilford Siegel, 
Bellevue and Mrs. Louis J. Fedele, Sandusky and a number of nieces and nephews.
